In Line With #Kwibuka30, 

Yesterday May 15th,
with the support of TeamIrembo we offered support to survivors by donating 70 goats to 35 families in Rulindo. Naphtal Ahishakiye, Executive Director of ibuka_rwanda emphasized our evolving culture of support, where even the smallest gesture makes a difference. Reflecting on 30 years since the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, he highlighted the positive role of Rwandan youth in rebuilding the nation. He reassured survivors of a country that loves them, noting the transformation from past divisions to present unity. 

Liliose Nyinawinkindi, Director of Customer experience and service distribution at teamirembo expressed delight in joining the effort, emphasizing their commitment to national development. She urged recipients to care for the goats, believing they will significantly contribute to their well-being. “We are here for you,” she affirmed.

The Vice Mayor of rulindodistrict Mutaganda Theophile extended gratitude to Irembo and Our Past Initiative for their presence during this commemoration period, expressing hope that this act will positively impact the community’s daily lives and elevate them to new heights.
