We would like to take this time to thank you all for the incredible support towards Our Past over the past 12 years. It is your encouragement that strengthens our resolve to continue the journey. However, it is imperative that we continue to come together to learn as we commemorate each year. 

As we stand on the firm foundation and draw inspiration from the leadership and sacrifices of those who have come before us while, simultaneously, learning from our nation’s past, we can build upon the lessons of history and continue to create a society characterized by understanding, compassion, and unity. 
Collaboration, dialogue, and a commitment to justice and reconciliation are our duty as the youth of Rwanda. 

This year’s venue for Our Past is the Nyanza, Kicukiro Genocide Memorial on 9th April. 
The event will begin at 5pm. 
Kindly note the importance of keeping time. We also encourage attendees to dress warmly as evenings tend to get quite cold. 

Thank you, once again, for standing with us and being an integral part of this important movement. Looking forward to seeing you all there.
