Twas was a great year in Calgary Real Estate with 29,672 units sold in 2022!  🙌 The housing market has outperformed in both sales and price growth. December market recorded 1,204 sales due to significantly less in new listings, 30.6% less than last year. Here are key takeaways👇

🏡 Detached Home Benchmark Price is $619,600. 9.8% increase 📈 from Dec 2021.

🏫Condo Benchmark Price is $274,800. 9.2% increase 📈from Dec 2021

🔹Market Condition has significantly impacted the sales activity, it slowed down due to the steep price increase in the later half of the year.

🔹“ Calgary continues to report activity that is better than levels seen before the pandemic and higher than long-term trends for the city … we have faced persistently low inventory levels, which have prevented a more significant adjustment in home prices this year” 

🔹2,008 units in Total,  977 Single Detached Homes as of Jan 3, 2023.
