Lily Gladstone remembers Grahame Greene. 

In her tribute, Gladstone (lilygladstone) called Greene “one of the best to ever do it,” writing:

“He made everything better. Funnier. Deeper. Memorable. I wish I could have met him. I probably would have thanked him.” 

Her words echo what she shared in a 2024 interview with Rachel West for the Alliance of Women Film Journalists, during her historic award run:

“I stand on the shoulders of performers like Graham Greene,” adding “I’m not the first — and I hope I certainly won’t be the last.” 

Greene’s life and career left a mark that continues to shape Hollywood and inspire Indigenous storytellers across generations.
