Putting its hefty launch price and specs aside for a moment, if you talk to anyone who's used Leica's flagship S system camera, they'll quickly tell you it's a thing of beauty.

It feels like the culmination of the S experience: a customisable, quick-firing, super ergonomic workhorse built for the prolific pro. For the size it is (64 MP CMOS sensor!) it's surprisingly light and fast to startup.

But perhaps most importantly — being a DSLR it possesses a mechanical shutter sound that is truly ASMR-worthy.
