Even now, this 50mm prime really smashes the value for money ratio on Nikon, Sony full-frame, Canon and Leica L-mount bodies.

It's very comparable performance-wise to more expensive original manufacturer lenses but used models go for an affordable sum nowadays.

Where are the downsides you ask? Well it's a bit heavy, doesn't really have weather sealing and the autofocus is good, but not top tier. It does do a nice bokeh though so it's six of one and a half-dozen of the other there.
