Blackmore was named Championship MVP, leading the Humber Hawks to their fifth straight provincial title and 11th overall. Fresh after being named OCAA Player of the Year and an All-Canadian, the fourth-year outside hitter contributed eight kills with a .538 kill percentage and nine points overall in Humber’s straight-sets sweep of Fanshawe in the semi-final on Feb. 22. The following day, Blackmore recorded a match-high 15 points on 13 kills, a block and a service ace in a four-set win over host Cambrian in the gold medal match.
