Izzy has been an oncology nurse for over 17 years. She’s sat with patients in their worst moments—grief, fear, anger. Sometimes that anger gets thrown right at her. One patient even refused her care because of her accent. He mocked her English and tried to push her away.

She had every reason to walk away, but she didn’t.
