This is a camera that plants its flag in the ground and declares exactly why you want it: functional nostalgia. It's a mirrorless digital that does everything it can to look, feel and shoot like a film camera. 

Swipe across to marvel at "that" rear LCD which just wants to stay tucked away and display your selected film simulation and ISO. This has the additional - presumably welcome - effect of encouraging you to use the rangefinder-style viewfinder and shoot without it. 

Of course, the screen does open for you to use and you do get a few modern nice-to-haves like 4K video, dual SD card slots and direct charging with USB-C. But don't wish for too many mod-cons or you'll overlook it's raison d'être: to pretend you're a 60's Hollywood location scout getting important shots with your deeply cool film camera.
