When it was released in 2017 the G9 set benchmarks for autofocus speed and continuous RAW shooting in the mirrorless camera world. 

Big reasons for this were its 225-point AF system and Venus Engine processor—giving buyers the speed, image quality and features that made it formidable camera especially action and sports photography.
