I'm so proud that last week, we reauthorized the Violence Against Women Act after 2 years of needless obstruction. NM has one of the highest #MMIW rates—we must implement #VAWA ASAP and double down on our work for justice to protect Indigenous women. #NoMoreStolenSisters

While we continue our work to secure the full measure of the resources we need to address the #MMIWR crisis, I’m proud that this budget includes $25 million, a 25% increase, to address MMIWR cases across the country.
