8 years ago we, as Our Past Initiative started through our commemoration event 'Our Past' to help genocide survivors. We first started in helping them with everyday items and 3 years ago we went further and started renovating their houses in Ntarama Genocide Survivors Village. After our first phase of the project, we were asked by the village leaders to join them in helping Steven. Steven is a veteran and Genocide survivor with PTSD, and for the last 11 months with the support of different people we have been able to build him a house. Today we finished the house and presented it to him, he can finally peacefully sleep in his new house. Thank you all for those who have supported, God bless y'all for your love and support. |
