The artist was a master of symbols and hidden imagery. If you take a closer look at his painting, “The Hallucinogenic Toreador,” among the flies, Venus de Milos, and beneath a camouflaged bull, you will find a perfectly relaxed woman floating on a yellow raft.

The lounging lady symbolizes the many tourists who flocked to Cap de Creus, a coastal destination near his hometown of Figures also depicted in the rocky terrain of this painting. #TheDali #DaliDecoded #SpringBreak
