Picture this: the year is 1948 and you receive a Hallmark card in the mail, featuring artwork by Dalí. How do you react? 

Many at the time deemed the artist’s images to be ‘too avant-garde.’ Yet, a decade later the greeting card company would commission the artist again to created scenes for Christmas, Valentines Day, Easter and Mother’s Day. Only three of the designs were ever printed. #TheDali #DiscoverDali
