Did you know Dalí often incorporated double imagery into his artwork? 

In this chilling work, "Ballerina in a Death's Head," painted in 1939, you can see a skull, but if you look closer, you'll notice a beautiful ballerina. Her posed arms create the eyes and her ballet gown becomes a row of decaying teeth.

The process of creating dual images or The Paranoiac Critical method was something Dalí developed to challenge the way we perceive reality. #TheDali #WorldBalletDay
