You’ll find snail shells depicted in many of Dalí’s works, including “The Average Bureaucrat” (1930). Dalí uses snail shells to symbolize protection and self-preservation. He found enchantment in their spiral formation and their hard amour-like shell with a soft interior. #TheDali #DaliDecoded
