## Caption

From sketch ➡️ real life design.

In 1939, Dalí designed the pavilion for the New York World's Fair, titled Dream of Venus. The pavilion featured a whimsical exterior, with openings through which visitors could view a reproduction of The Birth of Venus by Botticelli. The interior held an aquatic dance show in two large swimming pools, featuring mermaids and other Dalí crafted oddities and creations. #TheDali #WorldsFair
