I was recently quoted in a @nytimes article on #slugging, the process of slathering your face with Vaseline before bed (after cleansing and applying moisturizer), thereby turning yourself into a shiny, slimy slug 🐌. 

#slugging with @vaselinebrand may be trending on #tiktok but ask your grandma; moms have been using it for centuries! Due to its occlusive properties, it does a great job of protecting the skin barrier to prevent water loss. I have jars all over the house and use them to coat my hands post-surgery and treat my daughters' #eczema

However, if you’re seriously concerned about dryness or any other skin issue, your best bet for a glowing complexion is to work with your dermatologist.
