Meet some of Girl Scouts San Diego’s 2025 Gold Award Girl Scouts:

💛 Frances Aguilar: Promoted inclusion and disability advocacy. She founded a Best Buddies Chapter, led Friendship Walks, volunteered, and lobbied for wheelchair-accessible airplanes.

💛 Megan Juza: Inspired girls in STEM through hands-on workshops to help them explore science, tech, engineering, and math.

💛 Sarah Pritchett: Published a children’s book, Girls Can Do Anything, to break gender stereotypes and empower young girls to dream big.

💛 Charlotte Lourey: Boosted teen literacy at her high school with workshops, clubs, and presentations, to encourage students to rediscover a love for reading.

💛 Tessa Pothos: Created The Kindness Project curriculum for children 5–7, teaching empathy, inclusion, and anti-bullying skills through art, books, and games.
