## Caption

Lon has a few updates for you heading into the final weekend of Blackcomb operations — it’s going to be a fun one! 

🏔️ Blackcomb will close for the 2023/24 winter season on Sunday, April 14. Whistler will remain open for spring skiing and riding until May 20, conditions permitting.

☀️ The weather is looking incredible with mostly sun forecasted Saturday and Sunday, perfect for spring laps.

🎿 Our three major on-mountain events for @wssf are taking place starting tomorrow with the @hellyhansenski Saudan Couloir Race on Blackcomb at 11am. Spectators can watch from the top of Jersey Cream.

🏂 On Saturday, @wssf continues at the top of Emerald on Whistler Mountain at 1:30pm for The Cut Rail Jam, sponsored by @rockstarenergycanada & @skullcandy. 

⛷️ On Sunday from 11:30-1:30 at Glacier Creek the grand finale event for Blackcomb will be taking place — the @coronacanada Slush Cup! You don’t wanna miss this one. Buckets of Corona or Sunbrew will available on the patio for $38 and the Rockstar DJ Cat will be pumping good tunes. 

⛑️ From a safety perspective, we’ve noticed an uptick in unsafe skiing and riding — particularly on our ski-outs. Please obey yellow Slow Zone signage for your safety and the safety of others. Pass revocation can happen for those who are not obeying these rules. If you do want to open it up a bit, there are plenty of other areas where this is possible. Just remember to do so with care and always stay in control.
