In recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we are committed to building our relationship with the Squamish Nation and Lil’wat Nation, on whose unceded territory Whistler Blackcomb sits. On this day and every day, we are encouraged to reflect on the intergenerational harm that residential schools have caused Indigenous families and communities, and to honour those who have been affected by this injustice. 

The leaders at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre (slccwhistler) have invited our community to connect and learn the truth about this land and people in order to reconcile the past and change the future. We are honoured to accept their invitation, committed to doing the work and thankful for the grace of their guidance. Please join us on this learning journey by visiting the SLCC.
