1 in every 5 pitch emails we send lands in an offer (either a paid deal, or gifted PR to start the relationship) 🤝

We’ve gathered some stats that might help those of you who are self-managed: 

💰rates were higher when pitching brands directly vs. agencies (makes sense, they have more budget control/flexibility and work on a rolling basis vs. agencies are generally more limited to specific campaigns they’ve been hired to execute)

📧 finding specific contacts (like the exact person who manages influencer marketing) is 2x more successful than pitching general contacts (like press@brand.com)

📈 we saw a 28% success rate when re-pitching existing clients (for example, you worked with a brand last month, it went well and you re-pitch them for next season)

🎁 our second highest success rate was converting gifted offers to paid through negotiation (21.4% success!)
