Pay Attention to Detail 🕵️‍♂️
We need our talent managers to have hawk eyes for tricky contracts and we’ve had to reject a number of qualified candidates for silly errors like spelling our company’s name wrong, uploading a resume in the wrong file type and forgetting to fill out the entire application. Make sure to read every point on the application closely and always edit your answers!

Pitch Yourself ⚾
Your application should highlight not only what makes you unique but also why your skillset it a perfect fit for the role. At the beginning of the application you will see the job description, use those points throughout your application answers to speak to how you would fit into the role and why we need to hire you. And don’t be afraid to brag a little ;)

Do Your Research 🤓
It is always so refreshing to read an application that speaks directly to our values, our company needs or brand voice. It shows me that you are genuinely interested in our company and have a good grasp on what we do here.

Be Concise ✍️
All of our roles here at Hermana require strong email communications so showing your great communication skills in your application is always a plus. Include all necessary details but keep your writing concise and clear so it is easy to follow along.

Don’t Be Afraid to Go Above and Beyond ⭐
We typically get over 150 applicants per round so it doesn’t hurt to stand out! One of our Talent Managers, Brittany included a “why you should hire me’ presentation with her application and it really caught our eye and helped us learn more about her.

Each hiring round is unique to our business needs - one round we may prioritize multi-lingual skills, another we may prioritize a certain skillset, etc. Even if you were not interviewed last round you may be a great fit for the next round!
