It’s a big week for our flagship IPA, the beer that really started all of this for us. Juicy Banger IPA has always been the consistent, reliable engine that helps drive our train forward. This week we are celebrating Juicy Banger IPA with a few events in the interest of highlighting fun experimentation in yeast, hops, and organic compounds in a beer that means a lot to us. Details are below.

Wednesday, April 17: Good Bugs Juicy Banger IPA tapping with brewedfood. We made a special, limited quantity of Juicy with two different yeast strains: Brettanomyces Claussenii and Fruit Saccharomyces, intended to bring forth new and potentially unexpected flavor and aroma to create a one-time, special version of our flagship IPA.

The team from Brewed Food Fermentation Project will be on hand to present a uniquely crafted food pairing with each pour of the Good Bugs version of Juicy Banger IPA, and to discuss the wonders of fermentation experimentation. Things kick off at 4:00 on Wednesday.

Thursday, April 18: Third Thursday Firkin. A full firkin of Juicy Banger IPA dry hopped with Galaxy hops and conditioned. We swing the mallet at 5:00. Come make sure you get a pour after work Thursday.

Saturday, April 20: The Terpene Project. We are excited to present our experiment with terpenes, organic compounds that contribute aroma and flavor profiles to plants such as hops and cannabis. We have played around with three of our flagship beers and certain terpenes intended to bring about and enhance new and existing aromas and flavors.
