♥️ PREGNANCY IS OPTIONAL billboard goes up in San Antonio, Texas. ♥️

The next billboard on SYA’s pro-abortion billboard campaign is currently on view in San Antonio, Texas. We were thrilled to partner with and support our friends at bucklebunniesfundtx with this billboard and messaging. 

The billboard proudly proclaims “ “Pregnancy is Optional: You Always Have Options,” and links to YouAlwaysHaveOptions.com, an online resource offering info on how to access abortion services safely in any state, including those which have banned abortion. This billboard stands as a message of resistance and support in Texas, a state rife with threats to reproductive freedom including the recently proposed HB 991; which would require internet service providers to block any website providing information on how to obtain abortions or abortion medication, and make it a felony for anyone who raises money for abortion care.

A huge thank you to our partners at Buckle Bunnies Fund for their work in Texas. Buckle Bunnies is an abortion mutual aid network in Texas, serving communities through the distribution of abortion funds and harm reduction materials. Buckle Bunnies was founded in 2020 by a small group of young queer sex workers, passionate about abortion access for Texans.  From BB spokesperson Makayla Montoya Frazier:“We believe in healthcare without barriers or bans. As people who have had abortions, we know the unique struggles Texans face. We are proud to be in this fight alongside Texans who have had abortions and who will have abortions.”
