“I was 18 years old in a relationship – we were way too young and immature and it was abusive. I never wanted and still to this day don’t want kids. Getting pregnant gave me the power to leave to take control of my body and not be tied in a relationship that was not healthy for either party. I am now 33 and for years I have wanted to be open and honest so people who feel alone maybe can feel a little less so. But I always felt I had to say it was because he was abusive. That was a contributing factor but really it was because I didn’t want to have a baby and that is enough! Not wanting to have a baby is enough of a reason to have an abortion!!!!!
