Help #WomenonWeb get their instagram account back by sharing this post and tagging meta. Let's hold Big Tech accountable for actively blocking vital healthcare information from being shared with those in need: 

⚠️ It has now been twelve days since meta / Facebook suspended our Women on Web Instagram account (abortionpil)

Facebook claims that our account 'went against one of Instagram’s Community Guidelines' and that they 'disable the accounts of people who try to purchase, sell, raffle, gift, transfer or trade certain goods and services on their platform.' 

Facebook has been continuously suppressing healthcare information from our platforms for years, with multiple of our posts being taken down and/or shadowbanned. Our entire accounts are also constantly disabled. Most recent examples of account suspension include our Women on Web Arabic Facebook page, our Mexico Facebook page, and our Hungarian Instagram account. 

These suspensions lead to lengthy and exhausting appeal processes to get our accounts back, which are not always successful.
People around the world depend on the information we share and our services. Censoring vital healthcare information from people in need is a human rights violation.
