Now as lesbian over 35, I really want a child and I’ve reflected but still no regrets. Continuing those pregnancies would have been the end of my chance at a life I needed.  The first at 15 was an easy choice. The second at 17 from a shitty relationship made me tearful after but overwhelming – I felt utter relief to have my body back again and my autonomy.
