“One year since I found out I was pregnant. I had a surgical abortion at 12 weeks and I was sure of my choice. However, the wave of emotion as soon as the operation was completed overwhelmed me – I wept. Sitting in the post-op room, I noticed many of the people coming out of their operation were also crying. I spoke to them later and we had all wanted our abortions. I just wonder where that emotion comes from? I think for me it was relief, the weeks of anxiety we’re finally over… I’m forever grateful I had access to an abortion clinic or my life would be very different today.” 💕 #shoutyourabortion #abortion #proabortion #stopthebans #emotion
