🖤💚🖤 “If we take a look, what would really improve our health? It looks like those millions repurposed. The health of Louisiana looks like a Louisiana that is fed, clothed, educated, and elevated towards individual dignity and bodily autonomy. Improving the health of Louisiana means spending money on lifesaving measures for folks who decide to parent, and for folks who decide not to parent. Improving the health of Louisiana means acknowledging and addressing the issues plaguing our neighbors, friends, and families who are unjustly in prisons, blackout sites, detainment centers, concentration camps across the state and across the country. This list could go on forever, however, you all know the story. There’s that much need and we all know this is true regardless of what side you’re on. States like us have different struggles, different stories, but really we are more similar. This issue, it’s not ‘us,” it’s not “them.’ It’s us. It’s all of us. We have bodies, and because we have bodies, we have battles. But our fight should not be with each other.
