I shared this photo on my personal account when I was about 30 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby. Our rainbow baby who was conceived very intentionally exactly one year after choosing to terminate a very wanted, very poorly timed unplanned pregnancy. -
The comments from people, even those who KNEW our story, even from those who claimed to be pro-choice were uhm, interesting. -
“It’s fine to have an abortion but...”, “I just don’t understand why you’re proud of it...”, “it’s just that it’s trashy to wear that while you’re pregnant...” -
Those are some of the ones I remember. There were far worse, I’d rather not. -
1 on 4 of us humans with uteruses have abortions. Not all of us share but many of us do. They happen either way. And while they can be sad they don’t have to be. -
There’s a lot of fear and outrage right now with the bills being passed in Alabama and Georgia. With Florida and Missouri following suit. But there’s also a lot of misinformation and general stuff you should know that you may not. -
