Louisiana is a state with 3 abortion clinics serving 100,000 people with uteruses who are of reproductive age. So creating a safe space for telling our abortion stories sometimes requires gathering folks in a New Orleans puppet theater run by a loving puppet-making human named Pandora whose friends stand guard outside as lookout while we bunker down and convene in a womb-like room passing chips and chocolate while exhaling our stories onto each other.
