@DeafWest’s “Oedipus” at the Getty Villa Museum is a unique and innovative retelling of the classic Greek tragedy. In this video, artistic director @djkurs and director @jennykoons talk about the multimodal and complex world that the Deaf and hearing actors in the production inhabit. By blending American Sign Language with spoken English, @DeafWest has created a powerful and moving experience that is sure to stay with you long after you leave.
