Everybody should love armoryarts. In case you're unfamiliar with their work, here are 3 reasons to love Pasadena's Armory:

1. They believe that everyone should have access to art. We agree. The Armory connects teaching artists with students all across Los Angeles with virtual and in-person art classes. Sign up for Armory summer classes in animation, ceramics, collage, graphic novels, drawing, and more on their website armoryarts.org/studio.

2. They bring contemporary art exhibitions to Pasadena. The next one explores people's relationship to food—and how the COVID-19 pandemic changed things. "At the Table" opens July 29!

3. Their creative and family-friendly workshops are one-of-a-kind. This summer's workshops are inspired by themes from "At the Table." In one, you can create your own "emotional dumplings" (fabric dumplings marked with difficult emotions), and add them to artist Yeu "Q" Nguyen's installation in the galleries.
