No matter your proclivity for plants, Saint Fiacre could teach us all a thing or two. Fiacre was an Irish monk skilled in herbs and healing who founded a refuge for travelers that also served as a place of worship.

This piece illustrates the legend in which Fiacre miraculously cleared trees and thickets in a wooded area for a monastery in a single day with only his hands and a shovel. This feat attracted praise and, as shown by the woman in the background, charges of consorting with devils.
