The Getty Marrow Internship program was created in 1993 with the aim to diversify the visual arts through paid internships open to undergrads from any field of study.

Since it started, the program has supported over 3,200 interns at 175 organizations across Los Angeles. Were you a Getty intern or do you know one? Tag them below.

Today, the first major report on the impact of the program is out.

Key findings on the impact of the program?

✔️ 32% of all Getty Marrow interns have gone on to work in the arts—no prior work experience or educational background in the arts is required to apply

✔️ 92% of former interns who now work in the arts attribute their career decision to the internship program

✔️ 80% of alumni visit museums regularly as a result of their internships

✔️ 45% have joined arts organizations as members as a result of participating in the program
