We don’t make the rules. 🤷

But really…How often should you be pooping?

While pooping every day is indeed VERY demure, the frequency of bowel movements can vary from person to person, week to week, meaning you don’t need to worry if you aren't going daily. Generally, a healthy range is considered to be anywhere between three times a day and three times a week.¹

While there is no single "normal" frequency that applies to everyone, it’s important to pay attention to consistency in your own patterns. Minor changes here and there are typically no cause for concern—many factors can influence your digestion and its end products (💩), including diet, hydration, movement, stress, medication, and sleep. And when these factors shift (which can happen often), your #2s may follow suit.

But if you experience significant changes in your bowel habits (including frequency, size, smell, and consistency), it's best to consult with a healthcare professional.
