2016 was a good year for Sichuan takins with the arrival of our little Hsi Hsi. #Takins have some pretty cool adaptations that help them stay warm and dry during the bitter cold of winter in the rugged Himalayan Mountains. A thick, secondary coat is grown to keep out the chill, and their large, moose-like snout has big sinus cavities to warm up inhaled air before it gets to the lungs. #staywarm #talkinbouttakins #winterfashion #throwback #tbt
