So much of the modern rites-of-passage for the new mother focuses on the baby; the baby shower, friends and family coming over to cuddle the baby… many don’t realize until it’s happening to them or someone close to them, but the transition through pregnancy into motherhood is a complete emotional, physical and psychological experience… it can be isolating to feel like you can’t describe what’s happening to you, and you don’t know who to talk to or even come up with words to describe it.
