A Great Crested Grebe and her floating nest, captured by @pataluth 

These diving waterbirds nest on on floating platforms made up of waterweed built at the water’s edge, by both the male and female birds.

They are known to nest from January-August, so keep your eyes peeled if you happen to pass any lakes or reservoirs.
