Did you know that owls have incredible hearing?

Their hearing is so sensitive, it allows them to pick up low-volume sounds at a distance. The position of their ears, one slightly forward and the other placed higher, helps them to home in on the exact location of a sound, which is perfect for hunting in dense grasslands.
