In a clash of national titans, the No. 2 St. John Bosco Braves faced off against the No. 4 St. Frances Academy Panthers in a highly-anticipated matchup that was dubbed a potential "national championship preview". The winner would not only get bragging rights but also a significant boost in the national rankings. What unfolded at Panish Family Stadium was a true battle of top-five teams , culminating in an epic fourth-quarter comeback for the Braves.   

After taking a 7-0 lead into halftime on a 44-yard touchdown pass to Maliq Allen , St. John Bosco found themselves trailing 14-7 as St. Frances Academy's running backs Jaylen Burke and Jae'Oyn Williams both scored in the third quarter. With the Panthers holding "palpable control of the momentum" , it was the bravery of the Braves that prevailed.   

The story of the game was senior wide receiver and Texas A&M commit Madden Williams, who proved to be the "difference maker" with two "magical catches" in the fourth quarter to spark the comeback. His 51-yard one-handed touchdown catch tied the game, and his 36-yard reception on the next drive set up the game-winning score. Williams finished the night with 7 catches for 180 yards and a touchdown , though other sources claim he had 8 catches for 193 yards and a touchdown. St. Frances Academy's defense, which includes five-star seniors Zion Elee and Jireh Edwards , ultimately had "no answer for Madden Williams" in the final quarter.
