A dipper doing what it does best! @pataluth captured this daring dipper diving headfirst into a waterfall to catch its meal. 💦
 
With small aquatic invertebrates, such as mayfly nymphs and caddisfly larvae, dippers will usually feed whilst under water. But with bigger catches, such small fish such as minnows, they will bring their food to the surface.
