In 2010, 20 targets were put in place to reverse the terrible loss of wildlife and the natural environment by 2020. 
Yesterday’s report shows that we haven’t met those targets. Even the government's own assessment shows that they have only met 5 out of the 20. But is that true? 

Our own analysis in the #LostDecade report believes that in reality, only 3 have been met and we have actively gone backwards on 6 of them.  How is that possible?

Despite the targets being measurable and time bound – they weren’t put into law so Governments weren’t held to account, with no ramifications for not achieving them.
