Latina pop star, NEZZA (babynezza)—who is of Colombian and Dominican descent—recently hosted a charity concert at The Roxy in West Hollywood. The concert’s proceeds were donated to different immigration defence nonprofits to support the community and, the event itself, also launched a toy and canned food drive for This Is About Humanity. The night included performances by actor/singer Michael Cimino, Dominicana PAMÉ, and of course, NEZZA herself. 

In an interview with Caroline Salinas (thesweetcarols) for HipLatina, the singer opened up about her early beginnings as a dancer and how she’s evolved into the pop star she is today. She also recently dropped a studio version of the National Anthem in Spanish, “El Pendón Estrellado”— a testament to her commitment and love for her community.
