To wrap up our month of showcasing some amazing wildlife images from our photo library of species that are still very much photographable during the late summer period is this wonderful shot of a water vole by RSPB photographer jhibbertphotography ! We absolutely adore this image and late summer is a great time for photographing Water Voles as their habitat is green and lush and they will start preparing to gather fruits and vegetation to prepare for later in the year!
