Welcome to day 4 of our #25DaysofPhotographers Advent Calendar! Today, Minsmere volunteer, Clare Carter, talks about how she became involved in photography! "I'm lucky enough to live on the beautiful Suffolk coast and I've been volunteering at Minsmere since July 2015. I got into photography when my husband retired a few years ago - he took it up first and as he upgraded his equipment I inherited the older stuff! 
I snapped this beautiful blackbird in January 2016 whilst on Reception duty at Minsmere. The bath had been frozen solid and we'd broken the ice earlier to allow the birds to drink but the blackbird decided to bathe even though it must have been freezing!
