## Caption

Local artists and volunteers in Tijuana are revamping the U.S.-Mexico border with “Abrazo Mutuo,” a mural that aims to counteract hate and negativity towards immigrant and migrant communities and symbolize the unity and solidarity between North and South America. Developed by Tijuana locals and artists including Alfredo “Libre” Gutierrez and Javier Salazar, also known as “Deported Artist,” the project depicts an eagle and condor flying side-by-side in Friendship Park and was inaugurated on July 19.
