We love to see Latinas be celebrated for their legacy and achievements, and that’s what Harvard just did for Boricua legend Rita Moreno. The 93-year-old trailblazing entertainer was awarded an honorary doctorate from Harvard University in celebration of her nearly eight-decade-long career. During the commencement ceremony, Moreno was brought to tears when she was surprised with a graduate’s touching performance of the “West Side Story” song “Somewhere.”
