Dominican superstar Tokischa is known for her risqué music and love for her native Dominican Republic, and following the Jet Set nightclub tragedy in Santo Domingo, the 29-year-old rapper and singer is teaming up with the Jompéame Foundation to raise money for those affected. On Tuesday, April 8, the roof of the Jet Set nightclub in Santo Domingo collapsed during a concert put on by merengue legend Rubby Pérez, killing at least 225 people including Pérez himself, former baseball star Octavio Dotel, Montecristi governor Nelsy Cruz, and baseball star Tony Blanco, and injuring 189 people according to CNN.
